Once upon a time but not so very far away there lived the Mick Dougle family who resided in London England. The snow was falling, carolers were singing every place you went and people were shopping for their Christmas gifts. It was a wonderful time of year full of love, laughter, and good cheer. Mrs. Jane Mick Dougle burst into her house she shared with her husband Fred and two daughters, Sylvia and Shirley. "Look everyone I found it!" she beamed, and her whole family ran into the parlor where the fire blazed brightly. "Our perfect star to put on the Christmas tree this year." Isn't it beautiful"? She breathed, as she took it out of the bag she had brought it home in from the store. "Yes it is great dear good job picking it out." Her husband said kindly smiling sweetly at her. "Good job mama it is so pretty." Sylvia chimed in, her cheeks rosy. "It is divine." Shirley interjected, so her mother knew she liked her mom's contribution. "Now should we put it on the tree now or wait until later"? Jane asked. "Later." They all chorused, and went into the dinning room to eat their supper. "Finally I thought they would never leave." The star exclaimed. "I can't believe it is christmas time again! Yahoo! An hour or two passedby, and then Mrs. Mick Dougle came in and put the star on the tree. Then the family went to bed, happy their tree was now complete. Oh well here I am again all alone and no one to talk to?" The star sighed dispondently. "It's not so bad. Tinsel said. "You get used to it after a while. And you can always talk to me if you ever get lonely." Thanks; that is a big help." The star replied, and they slept happy to each have found a friend in one another. Christmas came and gone with presents food guests and much much more. Then the decorations were taken down, and the tree was being put in a plastic bag. "Hey wait wait wait don't do that you can't take my tree away. Where will I sleep"? No one listens to me. Ah well bye bye tree we had fun." I will miss you. Sylvia took the star and put it away in a closet. "Hey it is dark in here I don't like it. I am frightened." "Hey." The juke box said. "Hello." "Want to hear some tunes and have some fun until next year? We won't be brought until next year anyway. "Sure." The star responded, trying to make the best of his new home. So the juke box played, and the star danced around happily. Merry Christmas to all and as Santa Claus said as he drove off into the night. Merry Christmas, and to all a good night. After the dancing, they both collapsed on the floor and slept until next Christmas came around. Happy holidays to all and leave your comments. I hope you liked it! :)
